I studied BS Computational Physics from Centre for High Energy Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore Pakistan. During my studies in the university I have acquired a solid foundation of knowledge of different areas of physics like Waves and Optics, Quantum Mechanics, Electromagnetic Theory, Classical Mechanics, General physics and Modern physics. The practical work on different areas in and outside laboratory made my understanding about Physics more clear. With this ongoing knowledge of physics, I strongly feel that MS in Nanotechnology will be extremely suitable with my ability, my interest as well as my Bachelors program in Pakistan.
Nanotechnology aims to provide a vehicle for the publication of a broad range of high quality research and review papers in those fields of scientific and engineering research appertaining to the development and application of nanotechnology.
The scope of Nanotechnology encompasses but is not restricted to the following areas:
- Development in all types of lasers.
- Developments in opto-electronic devices and photonics.
- Developments in nano-electronics and Nano-Enabled Power Systems
- Developments in nano-sensors and nano-forensics
- Developments in Millimeter-Scale Robots and Multi-Scale Modeling
The reason of my choice is due to the vast application of Nanotechnology. Ever since the beginning of Nanotechnology in 1959’s with the invention of laser it has slowly grown into something colossally beneficial to the human race. It is currently being used in fields of health care, electronics, power sector, renewable energy, spectroscopy, advanced research etc.
I strongly desire that after finishing the MS program in UOS, by the knowledge and experience gained, I will be able to fulfill my dream to become scientist in a well reputed organization. So that, I can explore my knowledge, skills and experience effectively. Apart from educational opportunities, I will also experience people and culture of the South Korea, beautiful places.
My co-curricular activities include sports like cricket, badminton and football. I am also a speaker and have participated in debate competitions throughout my student life. I have also worked in the student body of my university to host many dinners and conferences.
I shall be looking forward to have a positive response from your side.
