As this millennium comes to end, I can see the tremendous progress in my country. This is due to noticeable change towards high technology which my country has adopted and developed. As a result there is continues and sophisticated industrialization.
I want to mention that as industrialization in INDIA increases, its utilities also demanding in more quantum. Development of any industry is based on stability and reliability of its utilities.
During my two years of job in one of the leading industry of my country, I got much clear idea about our industries and conditions. Here we are facing lot of problems due to unstable power. Continuous production plants are suffering lot due to a single power failure even for a moment. In short, we are not having power generation to feed required demand. It we compare our power system with power system of USA, then power system of USA is much more stable & pure, means without variation of voltages and frequency.
This forms the basis of my desire to pursue my M.S. Electrical Engineering course in your country. I believe that by studying in a high-tech country like yours I will be able to further enhance my knowledge with opportunity of getting exposure to the latest developments taking place. This will show me a way of striking a balance between power demand and power generation which is extremely important for the progress of my country.
American education with inputs from associated industries provides expansion of faculties of the mind. With variety of courses and comprehensive set of electives your course structure is very appealing. Your university is an ideal place for aspiring students like me. I always wanted to be a part of such university, which is having international reputation and provides a simulating education environment.
With the liberalization of Indian policy to permitting generation units, the opportunities for professionals in Electrical Engineering are booming.
